Joe Ng and AJ Singhal of resident associate companies CFD Research Corporation and iXpressGenes spoke with The Washington Post about how iXpressGenes began collaborating with the U.S. Military to protect soldiers against biological weapons. Bob Kokoska, project manager with the U.S. Army Research Office, believes the resilient, understudied genes of the microbes called extremophiles might hold answers to better protecting tomorrow’s soldiers.
