Alabama Pediatric Genomics Initiative
The Alabama Pediatric Genomics Initiative is the expansion of an NIH-funded project to use whole genome sequencing to identify the causes of developmental delay in children. Hundreds of children already have been enrolled in North Alabama, and more than 150 diagnoses made. Now, support from the State of Alabama is allowing HudsonAlpha to expand the program to regions of South Alabama.
