Neil Lamb talks genetic literacy at national genomics conference

Neil Lamb presented at the annual American Society of Human Genetics (ASHG) meeting in October 2019 and discussed the importance of genetic and genomic literacy.

“There are lots of things that I have been privileged to do in my career. I pretty much have my dream job right now,” he said. “I get to take incredible science, either done by the researchers at HudsonAlpha or researchers around the world, the application of that science, and turn that into great stories to communicate to the public.”

Check out his interview with ASHG about his experience with communicating genomics to the public, furthering genomic literacy, and addresses the debate of genetic exceptionalism.
