LifeScience Links is a professional learning experience that provides seventh-grade life science teachers updated content knowledge, engaging strategies, and authentic lab experiences. Held on the campus of HudsonAlpha, a leading genomics research institute, educators leave the workshop equipped to link Course of Study Standards to real-world biotech applications and careers.

LifeScience Links will be June 10-13, 2024.

Additional Details:

  • Participants will learn from leading researchers, scientists and educators with a focus on connecting content to biotech careers.
  • 2024 tuition: $800. Includes housing, take-home materials, and onsite breakfasts and lunches daily.
    *Alabama public middle school teachers have subsidized tuition, housing, materials and mileage reimbursement (for those over 40 miles) provided by the Alabama State Department of Education and the Alabama Legislature.
  • Participants will earn 32 hours of continuing education and the opportunity to take home kits, materials, and classroom resources.
