HUNTSVILLE, Ala.–Kailos Genetics, a personalized medicine information company offering leading-edge gene-based testing, today announced they have entered into an agreement with the Combating Terrorism Technical Support Office (CTTSO) to continue development of a laboratory and software solution for analysis and identification of genetic material. Findings uncovered through genome sequencing have the ability to aid in investigative work and population analysis.
Prior to entering the agreement, Kailos hit strict milestones outlined by CTTSO in order to verify credibility of their targeted genetic sequencing methods. This entailed accurately completing hundreds of genetic samples, including blinded samples that had been genotyped by alternative methodologies.

The comprehensive software solution developed by Kailos has been designed to complete thorough analysis of SNP and STR regions followed by the generation of a detailed report. The current agreement between Kailos and CTTSO is an extension of a pre-existing agreement and will be leveraged to complete additional testing for the laboratory and software solution.
