HudsonAlpha Research Seminars host Dr. Kenneth Yu

Dr. Kenneth Yu gave a presentation for HudsonAlpha Research Seminars on November 16 in the auditorium.

Dr. Yu is a medical oncologist with expertise in the treatment of pancreatic, hepatobiliary, and other gastrointestinal cancers. His research is focused on two areas: first, the discovery and implementation of biomarkers for the diagnosis of pancreatic cancer, and second, the development of more-effective treatments for pancreatic cancer.  Visit Dr. Yu’s website for more information about his research.

The next research seminar will be Monday, November 28 at noon in the HudsonAlpha Auditorium, and will feature Dr. Michel Georges of the University of Liege. Dr. Georges will present on mosaicism in WGS data and mutations at the earliest steps of embryonic development.
