HudsonAlpha honors Huntsville women in STEM

HudsonAlpha hosted the inaugural Women in STEM event on February 27. More than 150 members of the community convened at the Jackson Center to hear inspirational stories from Huntsville women in STEM who overcame obstacles and knocked down barriers to pursue their professional goals.

The distinguished panel included:

Aruna Arora, MD, Neurology Consultants of Huntsville 

Juanita Christensen, PhD, CCDC Aviation & Missile Center (AvMC) Director

Janette Hostettler, Vice President of Production at Mazda Toyota Manufacturing

Jody Singer, Marshall Space Flight Center Director

Irma Tuder, Analytical Services, Inc. Founder and CEO, 

Peri Widener, GM Boeing Global Services Vice President (retired)

Proceeds will support HudsonAlpha Educational Outreach programs that are training and inspiring the next generation of scientists.
