Today the Economic Development Partnership of Alabama (EDPA) announced the 2016 winners of the Alabama Innovation Awards, including HudsonAlpha and associate companies CFD Research Corporation (CFDRC) and iCubate.
EDPA, through its Alabama Launchpad program, recognizes innovation and the vital role entrepreneurs, startups and innovators contribute to Alabama’s economy and new job growth.
HudsonAlpha and iCubate won Outstanding Public-Private Partnership for Innovation and CFDRC won Corporate Innovator of the Year for a large company.
The winners will be honored at the 6th Annual Alabama Innovation and Entrepreneurship Conference in Birmingham on Aug. 30 at the Birmingham-Jefferson Civic Center (BJCC), where Andrew Yang, founder and CEO of Venture for America, will be the guest speaker.
