Dr. Marshall Schreeder receives inaugural HudsonAlpha award

Drs. Myers and SchreederDr. Marshall Schreeder, medical oncologist and founder of the Clearview Cancer Institute has won the inaugural HudsonAlpha Award for Contributions to Scientific Research. This award will be given every year to recognize an exceptional leader who demonstrates a commitment to advancing scientific research. In addition to his or her own career achievements, the recipient exhibits a dedication to ensuring the well-being of fellow citizens through support of biomedical research. HudsonAlpha appreciates Dr. Schreeder’s unrelenting advocacy of science and recognizes his important role in supporting HudsonAlpha research.

“I am honored to receive an award from the HudsonAlpha Institute,” Schreeder said. “I would like to thank my family for their support as well as my colleagues at Clearview Cancer Institute who have supported my efforts to further cancer research. I would ask others to support HudsonAlpha in their efforts to understand the genomic base of cancer and other diseases, bringing these developments to those in need as quickly as possible.” Schreeder accepted his award at the HudsonAlpha Spring Benefit for Cancer Research on Friday, May 1.
