The Marketing and Communications Department is tasked with communicating the Institute’s mission and raising its profile to all stakeholders, including research partners, donors, government officials, and beneficiaries of research and education. The marketing and communications intern will help create scientific and educational content for multiple platforms—including print, web, and social media—written in an energetic, vibrant tone. The intern will function as part of a creative team, contributing ideas for communicating the Institute’s strategic mission and using analytics to track the effectiveness of various campaigns.
- Preference will be given to an applicant majoring in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations or Public Administration.
- Familiarity with WordPress and various social media platforms.
- Strong writing skills and attention to detail.
