MCW cancer researcher to present HudsonAlpha seminar

Please join us for our next seminar featuring Michael Flister at noon on Wednesday, May 17, in the HudsonAlpha auditorium. Flister is an assistant professor in the Human and Molecular Genetics Center and the Department of Physiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He received his PhD from the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in 2010 and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the laboratory of Howard Jacob, PhD, in 2015. His research is currently supported by the NCI, the Mary Kay Foundation, the Wisconsin Breast Cancer Showhouse, and the Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin Endowment and focuses on identifying the host genetic modifiers in the tumor microenvironment that influence cancer risk and outcome.

Jozef Lazar, MD, PhD, will host the seminar. HudsonAlpha Research Seminars will take a short break for summer and will resume in Fall 2017.
