US Chamber of Commerce highlights HudsonAlpha educational outreach

HudsonAlpha’s educational outreach was featured in a national education initiative called Achieving Tomorrow, created by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Center for Education & Workforce. The foundation promotes rigorous educational standards and effective job training systems to preserve the strength of America’s greatest economic resource—its workforce.

Neil Lamb, PhD, was interviewed for the “Voices” edition, which highlighted the Huntsville/Madison County community and the impact educators, administrators, community leaders, parents, and businesses can have when they join forces to help students succeed.

Lamb discussed how educational outreach is helping teachers and students in the classroom through the use of ChromoSocks®, which were developed to help explain cell reproduction and the nature of chromosomes to students.
