It is with heavy hearts that we at the HudsonAlpha Institute extend sincere sympathy to the families, co-workers, associates and students of those targeted in Friday’s shooting at UAHuntsville.
Especially, we are saddened by the deaths of Drs. Gopi Podila, Maria Ragland Davis and Adriel Johnson; good people who dedicated themselves to enhancing life through study, teaching and research. These losses have created a void in a life sciences community that extends well beyond our city and state.
We are better for having known them and are grateful to have been their friends and associates.
Our hearts join with those wishing health and healing to those injured.
