This position will assist the Computational Services Team in developing algorithms and visualization tools to aid in the analysis of biological sequence data. The successful applicant will be exposed to the data pipeline that ingests raw sequence data and produces quality control and analysis metrics, the databases that contain the analysis data as well as experimental metadata, and the web front end of the system. Depending on the skill set of the applicant, he/she will take on a project to significantly improve one of these aspects of the system.
