HudsonAlpha associate company Kailos Genetics is teaming with a nonprofit to provide additional discounted cancer screenings.
The company is teaming with Teal It’s Gone, an organization which attempts to improve ovarian and peritoneal cancer genetic testing though these types of reduced-cost programs. This collaborative effort will help people purchase tests for as low as $125. The advertised cost is $225. Kailos Genetics says standard tests are offered at prices upwards of $500.
The program will first launch in certain parts of Mississippi and South Carolina before expanding nationwide.
