TEDxHuntsville Showcases Local ‘Dream Makers & Risk Takers’

Notable thinkers, and thinkers who would become notable, have presented “Ideas Worth Spreading” through TED for decades. This educational organization, which drew its name from the terms technology, entertainment, and design, known for its “TED Talks” presentations, has been surging in popularity with the great aid of online video-sharing. Now, our local TEDx organization is preparing to host its seventh annual flagship event. The lineup for TEDxHuntsville 2015 is to include presenters from Research Park’s HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology, NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center on Redstone Arsenal, and Huntsville’s Lowe Mill Arts & Entertainment, among others. WLRH host Shane Scott spoke with TEDxHuntsville’s Everett Alexander and Cassondra Sumrall. You can stream and download their conversation here.

TEDxHuntsville 2015 is to be held at Randolph School’s Thurber Arts Center on Sunday, September 13th. Tickets are required. You can find more information at the TEDxHuntsville website.
