The institute partners with local, state and national economic developers and government agencies to support the development of HudsonAlpha’s biotech campus as a premium life sciences destination. In addition to fostering bio-entrepreneurship, the Institute works with partners to strengthen policies and incentives for life science industry recruitment. Collectively, HudsonAlpha’s strategic partners help to promote the growth of a synergistic cluster of biotechnology talent, including both science and business professionals. HudsonAlpha has established credibility with many of these partners since the Institute’s founding in 2008, including:

The State of Alabama offers a low general sales tax rate and a low corporate income tax rate. In addition, Alabama’s tax structure and statutory incentives provide a clear advantage for companies looking to grow in a business-friendly environment with a highly skilled workforce.
